Police in Canada Find 40 Snakes in Motel Room
These are healthy ball pythons shown. Ball pythons are the SMALLEST member of the African Rock Python family. They generally max out at 5' tho I have heard of the occasional 6-7'. These snakes (Ball Pythons) are not child killers. They are actually the snake advised for the novice handler & are frequently sold to children as pets as they normally have a placid nature if they are held often. If these are the people responsible for the child attack, then their stock SHOULD be taken. But if unrelated, it is a shame that all of their breeder stock was taken. They were healthy, beautiful specimens.

I know next to nothing about snakes. I think that if you have a pet anything that you should be responsible and make sure that it is taken care of properly. I don't know if the snakes in this situation are ok or not.  I hope the snakes are ok and that if they give the snakes back to the people they have a good place to keep them. I would worry about them being able to afford to care for the snakes considering they are being foreclosed on. I have no idea what the upkeep of a snake is. |
