The Polish government stands by the plan to make it easier for Poles from eastern countries such as Kazakhstan or other Central Asian states to return to Poland and has readied the repatriation bill.
The bill would shift the most of the related financial burden to the state budget from local governments.
At issue is. above all, accommodation to be provided for returning Poles as well as support for the cost of moving. Specifically, the state would provide more than PLN 4,000 per person in a one-off housing aid as well as PLN 600 in monthly financial support for six months.
Poland will also streamline the repatriation procedure.
