A rental property listing has gone viral after the owners dog 'photobombed' every picture in the advert.

John and Sara Kanive hoped to rent out their two-bedroom apartment in Lakeview, Chicago, by listing the property on classified ad site Craigslist.

But the advert went viral after the couple's beloved pooch Otis made a surprise appearance in every single shot of the apartment.

The three-year-old Great Dane/German Shepherd cross is shown peeking out from behind kitchen counters, hiding behind dining tables and ducking below beds.

The adorable advert created such a buzz that the $1,900-a-month property was snapped up within 24 hours.
Owner John told the New York Daily News: "He was just following me around. For the first one he was just laying there, but after that he started sneaking into the pictures."

The couple got Otis from a rescue centre when he was just eight weeks old.

Despite weighing 30 pounds, he thinks he is a lapdog and follows the couple everywhere.

Sara added: “He likes to be near people.”

For the couple who rented the property, Otis isn't staying and if they want a photo bombing dog they will have to bring their own.

We are looking at houses to buy now on realtor.com. I've actually found two with dogs copping a squat in the back yards. Obviously no one is editing these pictures before they go online. Lol
