If anything, it's tribal. We train these guys because we want them to fight ISIS, but then we tell them that they can't engage Assad's forces. But that doesn't mean dick to these guys when it's Assad -- not ISIS -- that's dropping barrel bombs on their villages. So they take all the weapons and training we give them and give us the finger when they return home to protect their families and hometowns. Meanwhile, as enemies of Assad, groups like ISIS and the FSA have no reason to not grant them safe passage back into Syria. This isn't the first time such things have happened and it won't be the last. |

Ben Carson is an extremist by any measure. He hasn't been out under the microscope yet, but when that happens it's game over for him. He's a scary guy with some scary views. |
