That's not true. Gun doesn't have to be registered to the person carrying it, only the person has to be registered to be able to conceal a weapon, but with open carry you do not need a license nor be the registered owner of the gun. 'Merica

That's true in most open carry states. I'm not sure about Missouri. But when I lived in New York (for a very brief time) you could only carry the weapon that you registered to carry. Many states are different on their laws. In some states if you get stopped by police, they can confiscate unregistered guns in your possession.
