If her name/image is splattered everywhere for the public to see then the accused should be as well... fuck 'being a minor' it's the information age. If you're guilty man the fuck up and take the spotlight like she had to take her raping... if you're innocent you should be in front of every camera or listening ear proclaiming your innocence!

What a load of rubbish. A great example of victim blaming. A girl should be able to have a drink without having to worry about being raped, humiliated and defiled. We need to start teaching boys not to rape rather than teaching girls how not to get raped.

Exactly. If a male were to get inebriated and sexually assaulted (I'm sure it has happened) would as many people blame the victim for being inebriated? It wouldn't be any more acceptable than blaming a female for her assault. Well, it shouldn't be, anyway.

No, she shouldn't. Why should you assume that it's ok to become mentally and physically incapacitated around a group of people? That's just stupid. Why would you assume that should be a safe thing to do?
Just because getting drunk is common in society, doesn't mean that it's ok, or safe to do. It's neither of those things.

Humans are predatory and opportunistic. Add alcohol into the mix and the situation becomes even more dangerous.
