Your opinion is normal, again, in my opinion, and we've seen cases where the parents of a victim do take the law into their own hands and are punished for it.

I never gave birth or have been pregnant, but, I have those maternal feelings about my nieces and nephews and get involved in bullying at the playground by bigger kids on smaller kids.

There is a HUGE difference between RAPE and the death of someone and bullying. everyone has been bullied. I think people as a whole, on the issue of bullying, have gotten soft. im not saying its a good thing to bully or to be bullied, but it does teach kids how to deal with adverse situations. Most kids that are bullied deal with it well and either fight or laugh it off (thats what we did when i was in school we didnt shoot the school up or kill our selves over bullying). This goes waaaaaaaaaaaaay past bullying and to compare this to bullying is trivializing rape and the bigger picture in this case and the many cases like this in the last few years. I also believe that bullying is more of a learned thing and this abuse on women is a learned thing. calling some one fat or stupid and even going oh i have better stuff than you cuse i grew up in a better household is a bullying thing none of which should reasonably cause some one to want to kill them selves let alone actually do it. Like i said before fight ,not saying thats right either but it does show that you will stand up for your self which is a big reason why kids are bullied because they dont or dont seem to stand up for them selves, OR just shrug it off and laugh it off and ignore it. But taking nude pics of a girl you just raped and wrote on and passing them around IS NOT bullying thats a whole different issue.

I can see why someone would but i dont think they should. Rape is almost purely psychologically damaging and done for such reasons. I think society should back rape victims and show justice for them and a lot of this suicide over rape would stop. Society views rape victims as damaged and ashamed people blame the victim they caused it kind of mentality. THAT NEEDS TO CHANGE and this kinda thing will be cut down on.

Bullying is at a whole different level from my school days. God, kids can be cruel. I find it so hard to believe that the parents have no idea that their child is so mean. Even if they were told, they probably wouldn't believe it.
