Rachel Melancon and her Fiance, Allen Coats, expected a healthy baby girl, and she was in fact beautiful and flawless. She was also perfectly healthy until Dr. George Backardjehiv decided to use forceps before rushing mom off for an emergency C-section.

Olivia Marie Coats was born unable to move or breathe on her own, She was internally damaged by the forceps that Dr.George Backardjehiv used during the birthing procedure. One can only imagine the horror Olivia's parents felt when they found out their perfect little girl was suffering from a fractured skull and severed spinal cord.

Father, Allen Coats, released a statement saying, "We want our Little angel to live on and change the world with her story. Please make this happen and tell everyone you know we love you all , and thanks for making this possible. As most of you know Olivia is now on life support due to her doctor using forceps trying to get her out of the birth canal which caused her skull to be crushed and a broken spine leaving her brain dead. Her loved ones are in a great deal of pain and appreciate all of the thoughts and prayers throughout this hard time. Friends of the family are currently trying to set up a benefit & also a donation page for this sweet angel.

Further information will be posted on the Olivia Marie Coats group page on Facebook as well as more knowledge of what is yet to come. Please pray for the family as they spend time with her tomorrow, she will be taken off life support and her love will live on in a little boy or girl who is in need of a heart or a certain organ. You will never be forgotten princess! We will be trying to pass the Olivia law so no other doctor can use forceps, and this can be prevented from happening to any other precious child!"

An unverified source has stated that Dr. George Backardjehiv has already lost his privileges to practice in two other states. This allegation is being further investigated. If in fact this is true the hospital is also liable for much of the damages done to this child and her family.

Rachel Melancon, Olivia's mother said, "I wish I could thank each and every one of you personally for all your love and support and all the hugs from random people . I had no clue just how many people lives have been touched. I really am in shock and I want everyone to know what happened to my daughter will never happen to anyone else. We will be trying to pass the Olivia law so no other Dr. Uses forceps. If you can't deliver a baby, a c-section is what you receive.

Having to look at my baby girl and all the damages done to her perfect little body is something that will stick with me for the rest of my life and the decisions I've had to make because of this mess is the hardest thing I have EVER had to do. I may have lost the life of a beautiful baby girl but she WILL live on and she WILL have her justice!"

Prayers for a sweet young couple tonight and the days to come as they lay their sweet baby Olivia to rest.

She looks big and healthy in the photos! I say we pull off the doctor's genital with a couple of pairs of forceps while his hands are tied behind his back!

My great niece had a scratch on her face and that bothered me immensely!

It is a common practice, at least in the US, but, I find it barbaric, especially in a Caesarian.

The babies I've seen are perfect when removed that way since they take out the entire uterus and place it on top of the mother.

It's obvious this baby was fully developed before the doctor killed her.
