Re: PA Man Missing for 9 Days Found Dead in Snow

That's Alzheimer's for you. Terrible disease. I've worked with a few patients with severe, late stage Alzheimer's and there was just nothing left of who they used to be
My father had it, as did the father of a woman with whom I worked.

Did you notice the people you took care of doing things with their hands? For instance, my father worked on cars and was gesturing he was working with tools. My friend's father gestured as if he were crocheting.

My father also had dementia, Parksinson's and diabetes. He was a shell of the man he used to be. He didn't deserve to die that way

My brothers should have been nicer and let him enjoy what he liked. He retired in his 50's and would get up like he had to go to work. This was when he was near his death and about 76-77 years old.

He would also wander out in his underwear to get the mail. Fortunately, the neighbors would call my brothers.
