I think a better comparison would be the Nazi symbols and the confederate symbol, at least among Americans. Obviously in some countries the Nazi symbol represents horrors that happened in the streets of their cities, where family photos on the walls are a reminder of what Nazi's took from them.

Still, there comes a time to simply get over it. Most anything symbolic for america, could be a slap to any group, even in America.

The few groups that hang on to the angst for symbolic shit in american history has been proof enough, that the butthurts for historical events, gets us no where.

In this day and age, yes.

However if given the chance I'd still grind up most of those SS Xmas ornaments to powder and shove them up a Neo-Nazi's ass.

went to an old WW2 german bunker here on Jersey a couple of months back....it's full of awesome german military, SS and nazi memorabilia...

it really was...there were loads of old things in there, including big mortars and coastal defence guns...plus writing on the walls from some of the soldiers who were stationed there
