I remember when the 90210 dolls came out. My niece wanted a certain one, which was white. I told her mother I'll go to other neighborhoods and find one, which I did.

There was a time there were no black dolls for the black kids. The kids didn't seem to mind. It's their stupid parents!

In this case, the black doll isn't that much darker than the white one anyway. I always thought the Hispanic Barbies and such were more attractive that the blonde ones. Never had any blondes. Brunettes and a couple of redheads only.
