One last picture? Murdered Puerto Rican boxer, 23, is propped up in the ring at his wake Christopher Rivera Amaro almost looked ready to box, leaning against the corner of a simulated ring, but it was just his corpse. Hundreds of mourners who came to his wake in San Juan on Friday found him posed afoot, a yellow hood on his head, sunglasses glasses over his eyes and blue boxing gloves on his hands. The canvas of the floor was red and white in honour of the Puerto Rican flag.  Lidianette Carmona, right, the wife of the late boxer Christopher Rivera who was shot to death on Sunday, left, hugs the boxer’s mother Celines Amaro, as they stand next to his body during his wake at the community recreation centre within the public housing project where he lived in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Friday.  The pair posed with Rivera’s son Julio Christopher alongside the body which stood propped up in a fake boxing ring during. Elsie Rodriguez, vice president of the Marin funeral home, explained that Rivera had asked his family that if he died, he wanted his funeral to make reference to his boxing career Elsie Rodriguez, vice president of the Marin Funeral Home, said Rivera’s family wanted to stress his boxing.  The funeral home has staged similar wakes for others. One featured a deceased man riding his motorcycle. Another featured a man sitting smoking a cigar. The 23-year-old Rivera had a 5-15 record and one draw in the 130-pound weight class. Police said he was shot dead in the early hours Sunday in the city of Santurce. No one has been arrested. He is survived by a wife and son, as well as his mother. Source |

Honestly after looking at all the pics, that was the first thing i thought of. He might be younger but he looks like hes 10. Could be his wifes kid though (from another marriage) she looks way older then him.
