I got Fentanyl injections in hospital when I broke my legs and one time they left the empty vial next to my bed, and the dose on it was micrograms and all the other times I got morphine or heroin that was milligram doses. I had never heard of Fentanyl before seeing that vial. And that shit was strong, it used to make me see insane and beautiful things and pain levels went from ten to zero in seconds.

Bullets are cheap and effective. It pisses me off these fucks get such a humane death when they almost always did not give who they murdered a humane death. A bullet is plenty humane IMO, Put a 10mm in their melon and save us tax payers some money. |

With all the "Mistakes" noted, execution goes relatively well most of the time. The only problem seems to be with the "Guest of Honor" having difficulty with the "Karma" they have waiting for them. Even at the worst possible scenario with a "Bad reaction" to the drug cocktail a statement should be read during the asshole's death throes explaining how this piece of shit slaughtered his victims.

I wonder if the issue is bleeding. Blood is linked to pain in most people’s minds. It’s icky and messy and grosses people out. So, even though a bullet would be quicker - it is shunned. |

Why would they think there would be any suffering if they used nitrogen? The whole reason assisted suicides use it is because there is no suffering. As far as the lungs are concerned, it's taking in gas. As long as the lungs can function, the person doesn't feel like they are being asphixiated. They'll just gradually lose consciousness then their heart will stop. If done correctly, it is the best method of suicide. A bullet, of a decent calibre, to the back of the head at point blank range would also suffice. |
