Re: Ohio Execution Took 15 Minutes With New Drugs
Another story I'm torn about. In my opinion, people like this should be tortured in the middle of the street in front of a mob, then hidden somewhere to die an agonizing death with thier wounds not treated. BUT....since the u.s. don't roll like that and we are "civilized" compared to some other countries then I think it should have been quicker like it was supposed to be. Either long and drug out on purpose or quick like it's supposed to be. Do I make any sense? Lol

Re: Ohio Execution Took 15 Minutes With New Drugs
Anyone found guilty of committing rape, murder, or other extreme acts of violence should be sentenced to death. The sentence should be carried out immediately and their death should be swift. In this case the man was being executed for his crime, their is no greater punishment available. The victims family should have been given the option to carry out the sentence to provide them with closure if they desired so. Someone should be held accountable for this very large fuckup. Torturing a criminal during sentence execution is immoral, no matter what crime they committed. As i have always said, if something needs to die then it has the right to die quickly. How can an advanced civilized society condone tourturing a human condemned to death and claim a moral high ground? What sort of society do you want your children to inherit from us? Any sane person wanting to be taken seriously would want their kids to live in a law abiding, civilized, polite, and free society that strived to be better than the previous generation. |

Re: Ohio Execution Took 15 Minutes With New Drugs
You have an excellent point but what is the solution? Is there a different combination of drugs that would be more effective? Or maybe we go back to using the electric chair? Well, that's probably too painful too. I'm sure his victim suffered far more than he did, but yeah torture isn't allowed for this rapist/killer. |

Re: Ohio Execution Took 15 Minutes With New Drugs
My heart does not bleed for that cunts suffering, i hope it hurt, but that does not change the fact that it is wrong. There are other methods of execution that are far quicker and less painful than the electric chair and lethal injection. Inert gas asphyxiation is one of them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nitrogen_asphyxiation Another way would be to destroy the brain stem, maybe use a 1 ounce slug or 00 buck shell fired from a shot gun. Messy but quick, cheap, and effective. |

Re: Ohio Execution Took 15 Minutes With New Drugs
I think probably the inert gas asphyxiation would be more likely than anything with a gun. Sounds like an inexpensive, quick and painless way to take someone out. And I don't mind that this murderer suffered. But the law is against that, so |
