They were illegals taking a ride to the land of opportunity. It is not unusual for the transporters to cram them like sardines. Some have died from heat from being packing in trucks, trunks, and the sort.

First 2 pics are of this crash. No gore yet. Last pic has 23 busted in a mini van. I wonder how warm the couple in the hood of the van got?! Crazy shit.
