     England have lost their opening match but the path out of the group doesn't looks hazardous as it is for Uruguay and Costa Rica, despite the later has won. It has been an extremely interesting tactical battle between two completely different styles: much energy and speed for England while Italy were much focused on possession and controlling the midfield. Sturridge (and Sterling behind him) have been a continuous threat to Italy, but England in general expressed a much better football than the one seen two years ago: just their back line is still too vulnerable in some cases (as it is the Italy's one), but nothing that can't be fixed in time: much respect and good luck to both teams. |
