Re: Not In The News
Uh, it's exactly like "normal" news organizations, at least in USA. Elon just discovered that USAid has been funneling $millions to the BBC and other news corps to procure headlines for the woke agenda. Time to take our business to a crowdsourced news feed like X where there seems to be at least a modicum of objectivity.

Re: Not In The News
I used to swear by the BBC, they were one of the most highly respected broadcasting organizations in the world, though that is fading due to a lack of impartiality. I still find their World Service radio broadcasting and sports coverage top notch though, and it's nice when in other countries to hear the familiar sounds of home. Still, the only way I can seem to get a balanced view of the world these days is by reading / watching opposing media outlets (i.e. Fox vs Al Jazeera) and somewhere in between is usually where the truth lies. |

Re: Not In The News
Slightly related to this, and slightly not... (more Marxist style oppression of free speech) British government have served Apple with an injunction this week under the Investigatory Powers Act 2016, demanding they install a back door into their cloud storage and to also make the contents of all users devices open 24/7 to the British police and security services if they wish to keep operating in the UK. |

Re: Not In The News
ok thanks for info, I got confused by the '14 hours ago' thing you said. We've established now that Google pulls the results first time without probs, as does searching the BBC site from outside the UK. But searching from inside the UK on BBC (only tried from 4 separate IPs so far) yields no results related to this topic.
