Perhaps the BBC serves up different results based on your location. In USA, a search on "belgium" found the article, albeit not in the top spot. Although, the fact that the shooters apparently didn't actually harm anyone does suggest it's about as interesting as a car horn in today's society...

Fucking hell... the plot thickens

I didn't just do a cursory search to prove myself right. I'll admit when I'm wrong. So I searched for it at great length today and could find it nowhere.

I am in the UK which is rapidly devolving into a Communist shitshow and a lot of 'unhelpful' news is blocked here. As you probably know we also have heavy censorship on social media. over 4,000 people were arrested last year for saying things the government does not like. In Russia that figure is around the 200 mark.

I'm not sure what motive you think they have to bury it/sweep it under the rig.

There's no indication of who the shooters were, who they were targeting, or what their motives were.

And most importantly, there were no injuries let alone a death. A couple of guys spraying bullets that don't hit anyone just isn't that much of a new story on the world stage.

I have a lot of reason to believe it. It's not just a fringe group who think this way about the BBC, it's probably the vast majority of the British public now. You're a smart guy, it would not take you very long at all perusing their news site to spot the shamelessly blatant propaganda on there.

It is after all a state owned broadcaster who work closely with the UK security SIS (formerly MI5 + MI6) to bolster and influence public opinion. This is well known. They are notorious now also for failing to report objectively (or even at all) on certain issues,

The YT channel The Angry Bootneck produces a regular show called 'The BBC Spews' which breaks down the propaganda and exposes their lies on an almost daily basis. That isn't the reason I think the way I do, because of one guy on YT, I just referenced it because it demonstrates pretty clearly what is going on.

If you go on there now you will found several articles that are hardly worth reporting but are simply propaganda items to paint trans, LGBTQ+, immigrants and Muslims in a favourable light. You will also find a ton of stuff every day that is anti-Trump, anti-Musk, and venomously anti-Israel rhetoric. Believe me dude it is not like a normal news organization.

And I know you guys get a ton of gun incidents daily in the US, so it might seem a little less dramatic, but here when 2 guys spray a commuter train with AK 47s, it is massive news really. AKs are very occasionally used in gang hits in Europe but the difficulty getting these guns (and more so a regular supply of ammo) means that when they are used in gang hits, they are used to their maximum potential i.e. to assassinate somebody. This is highly highly unusual for us what happened at the station.

The only times I can recall in my life that 2 people used AKs together in a public place (in Europe) were the ISIS attacks on Charlie Hebdo and the Paris attacks in November 2015.

I have excluded N. Ireland because it was an active warzone.

I asked why that particular incident is one someone would want to suppress, given that we have no idea who they were or who they were shooting at or why.
