23-year old Hunter Nadeau is arrested for entering a country club dressed in black tactical gear, shouting "The Children Aren't Safe" and "Free Free Palestine," and shooting approximately 6 shots. He killed 59 year old Robert DeCesare and injured 2 people.

Nadeau has been charged with one count of second-degree murder for knowingly shooting one of the victims.

Additional charges likely will be brought, including for the additional shooting victims. At least six people were hospitalized with injuries they sustained as they sought cover and fled the venue.

Social media users claimed Nadeau was influenced by far-left ideology while police confirmed that there is no known connection between Nadeau and the victim.

The killer was only halted in his murderous rampage when a wedding guest in a room next to the restaurant hit him over the head with a chair, local outlets said.

Nadeau used to work at the country club and stopped being employed a year ago, New Hampshire Attorney General John Formella told a Sunday afternoon press conference.

DeCesare reportedly died after throwing himself in front of his wife and daughter to save their lives.

Nadeau allegedly then tried to enter a wedding which was being held in the main part of the country club, sparking panic as gunshots were heard.


Think he planned this so i don't understand the 2nd degree murder charge but maybe that get updated later on to first.

It might be a holding charge that will be upgraded once they can prove the necessary elements (e.g. premeditation).
