I read the article and I'm sceptical how much good it will do. It was already compulsory for everybody to register in the Netherlands anyway.

From what i understand, these asylums are a type of loophole for persons to receive open arms to a different country among many countries in the world, and for certain countries to accept persons they otherwise wouldn’t or couldn’t due to their internal laws. Also, a lot of countries don’t show outsiders acceptance, especially, if their economy is not in need of growth through those means. A constant ebb and flow of power and creativity.
