Absolutely. The problem now is we have an imbalance of power. It's worked as a deterrent, but it's gone past that to the point if allowing offensive capabilities. Israel has no reason to negotiate in good faith, because the current situation is exactly what it wants. It controls all of Jerusalem, is continuing to build new settlements, and it's missile defence system and walls have eliminated most threats. The end game is that by continuing to drag this out, while building new settlements, eventually there will be nothing left to negotiate. |

The sad thing is all you've got is something like this, because you're a butthurt little emo *** that is incapable of joining the conversation. And yeah, when the only thing someone has to contribute to the conversation is Fox News talking points it gets old pretty quickly. It has nothing to do with agreeing with everything I say, it's about making a point that's based on reality and not rhetoric. If anyone is so naive that they think a thousand year old conflict can be broken down into good guys and bad guys, and that their side is ALWAYS correct, then they're part of the problem  So go eat a fucking meal or 5, get out of your moms basement, do some research and join in the conversation........ Or just mimic whatever your favourite news "commentator" has to say about something like all the other idiots. |

Stop throwing shit in my neighbours yards. Stop trying to steal his land. Realize that the only real way to get along is to make compromise. It's really quite simple. If Israel retreated to it's mandated borders and decided that it's in everyone's best interest for Jerusalem to be an international city ( as was the original UN plan) then I'd agree with everything you're saying. Conflict resolution requires looking at the perspectives of both sides of the conflict. |
