If you read the article you would know why, its far from pro israel either. What good is a resolution if both sides think its shit then you don't enforce it? Its a bunch of bullshit, thats what it is. |

Its all you have to cling to so whatever, it also goes over why israel retreating back to their "mandated" borders would never work because they never did, wars were fought over them, arabs lost, they wont accept any borders minus them controlling the whole thing. You refuse to actually look deeper into this minus citing the un over and over along with your international laws that you are quite hypocritical over. Not to mention the un broke their own resolutions with resolution 181.  |

What difference does it make who enforced it? Does that have any bearing on the mandated borders or international recognition? Would Israel exist today without that resolution?

Then who decided where the borders would be bob? The UN did. The Arabs didn't want to recognize the resolution because for them it was a shitty deal. 50 years prior to the creation of Israel Jewish people made up a very small percentage of the population of that land, and actually owned a very, very small percentage of it. What percentage of the British mandate was Jewish in 1900 Bob? You're the scholar, you tell me. |

Doesn't matter what it was in 1900, there was a massive influx of immigration, nor does it matter what is fair, life isn't fair bud. It does matter if its recognized and enforced, if not its a bunch of words on paper, meaningless. |
