UK needs migration 'because native Britons are bloody stupid', says pro-EU lord



Lord Kerr of Kinlochard, who co-wrote Article 50, said Britain needed “an injection of intelligent people from outside”, and claimed the Leave campaign won the referendum only by “cleverly outsourcing xenophobia and racism”.

Speaking at an event organised by the Institute for Government, Lord Kerr said: “In my view, immigration is the thing that keeps this country running.

"We native Brits are so bloody stupid that we need an injection of intelligent people, young people from outside who come in and wake us up from time to time.

So this "lord" believes that britons are less intelligent than the bunch of monkeys that are invading Europe right now?
Of course good, skilled, balanced AND legal immigration has often good overall effects, but this invasion will have bad effects in the short term and DEVASTATING effects in the long term; not my opinion, just FACTS based on the extremely sad experience of Italy: what the fuck are supposed to add to Britain (or to ANY civilized Country) people with no skills nor will to work? All they seek is benefits and if they have a brain, then they'll use it to make money, no matter the way. Maybe he's not stupid but of course he's not the brightest star in the firmament.

He is a Trustee of the Refugee Council and a Eurocrat so it's obvious why he makes such remarks. The British public don't elect these people to the House of Lords, some are hereditary Lords the others are elected by their peers, so it's no wonder he hates Brexit and us "The great unwashed" to have a say in anything.

In response to the remarks, Eurosceptic Tory MP Peter Lilley walked out of the event, and said he had considered reporting the peer to police for hate speech and being “racially abusive of the British people”.

Speaking to Mail Online, Mr Lilley said Lord Kerr’s comments showed “contempt for the British people” and accused the peer of “profound stupidity”.

“I think these comments revealed the contempt that some Eurocrats like Lord Kerr have for ordinary British people. They think they are there to rule the country and hugely resent any interference by the electorate," he said.

“To say the British people are stupid and then to suggest that housing has nothing to do with immigration displays such profound stupidity that one wonders why he lectures other people.

"It is particularly odd coming from a man who is racially abusive of British people."

Did I mention he's a Lord for life, there is no expiry date on his publicly unelected position. These people are well paid just for turning up.
