Re: National Debt
Whole thing gives me a headache just thinking about it. I have enough trouble managing my own bank account without thinking about the ridiculous national debt. All I know is that there are a lot of rich people getting richer and the rest of us are fleeced every single day in every single way. How is it that when the price of ****, fuel, booze, food etc goes up at Budget time it goes up immediately, thereby instantly costing us more for everything we need, but when they do pay increases or family allowance increases whatever, they only ever take place months afterwards or in small increments. I fricking hate money. Only because I don't have any though. |

Re: National Debt
Well for one if we would stop giving away money to every damn country except our own it would be a start. I saw an article online about the US aid to Western Africa. ONE HUNDRED FORTY MILLION a year in annual aid yet we have jobless and homeless people in the US. We have inner city schools with outdated text books and no computer access and we can justify giving $140 MILLION to a small western African area? "WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States is suspending at least $13 million of its roughly $140 million in annual aid to Mali following last month's coup in the West African nation, the State Department said on Wednesday". |

Re: National Debt
Australia does the same thing to asia-pacific countries, not to mention a $600 million on climate change programs in third world countries, icould go on forever on the amount of money we give to other countries including a $100 million program for pacific island countries to help prevent domestic abuse against women. Australia has a real bad problem for kissing other countries asses and trying to please them before our own people. |
