quite the experts. it's a Specie: Satyrichthys isokawae (Armored Sea Robin / Nautilus Fish) Native to: Okinawa Found in the deep tropical water of the South China Sea. They are encased in heavy bony plates for body and scales arranged in horizontal rows with prominent spines. They have 2 spines with bony ridges, upper spines has smaller ridges & lower ones has larger ridges. This fish has a Large head with 2 prominent snouts. The underside and mouth has no teeth but has feelers. |
