The USA gave the Rebels (but they called them something else ) weapons. These were officially to fight ISIS/ISIL.

I understand that the US wants to oust bashar Al Assad. I am not clear about all of the whys so can you explain that?

USA supplied rebels with weapons to destabilize the country, before they were armed they were no threat to Assad. USA just wanted Assad out of the picture. They made him up to be a dictator, same with Gaddafi, even though those claims are not based on facts. Only problem was that in Syria the rebels weren't as obedient as in Libya. All secular leaders in the middle east are being targeted by islamic extremist rebels backed by the USA or USA itself in order to destabilize the region- Gaddafi, Hussein, Assad...

They would be targeted just for being secular. That is the problem with these people, and now they are free flowing across Europe to the country of their choice.

The US may be responsible, I understand a bit of why but they should have left it alone.
