I can't believe this actually happened in real life. In the Aussie tv series Rake(forget the US version,it was a crap imitation)Cleaver finds out his secretary Nicole has been stealing from him. He fires her & she is utterly unremorseful about doing it as he's a wastrel with money. Then she's walking down the street, sees a shadow above her & is hit by the gargoyle. She lands in hospital & she & Rake then patch up their differences.(Ep is Season 1 R Vs Corella, I think)

Yes, it's a total freak accident. The church was cited for the structure being unsafe. I am sure that there will be a huge lawsuit, as there should be, and they won't have to sorry about the safety of the building in the future.

I wish I could find a clip from the show. The way the scene is set is exactly how it sounds it happened IRL. All the older eps used to be on Youtube for free, but they were pulled when the ABC put them on the 'pay to view' part of Youtube. There are some online 'Streaming' sites that have the eps for free,but I won't link as some of these can be pretty virusey,& I don't want to be guilty of giving you guys pc cooties!  |
