Byfriend kills mum, her son (11) and daughter (9), and daughters friend (9) whilst they're having a sleepover.

So this happened last week and I can't get my head around the timeline or what happened- mainly because the press have leaked zero info (pretty unusual for British tabloids) and no details have been released by the police.

I'm friends with a close friend of the woman who was killed. She says next of kin haven't been told any details, even after a week.

From what I've pieced together from reports and my friend,
- neighbours heard screaming Saturday evening but didn't report it.
- Sunday morning more screaming is heard.
- The attacker calls an ambulance for himself, and kept screaming he didn't want to die, after stabbing himself.
- Ambulance/police found him covered in blood with a knife sat under a tree by the house.

Current speculation is he killed the mother Saturday night and the 3 children Sunday morning.* Probably with a knife as he was found with it, but even the family haven't been told yet.

2 bodies were removed from the house Tue and the other 2 on Thursday but this was kept under wraps from the press.
It's stated that it's a "very complex scene and there are complicated ongoing forensic enquires.'

Why wait so long to remove the bodies?
Why remove them days apart?
Why keep information from the next of kin?

Feels like there's "more" going on than just a simple crazed attack.

Around 300 people gathered on Monday evening for a vigil in a park a few hundred yards from the police cordon, where they placed candles, flowers and teddy bears.

Connie’s dad Charlie Gent also spoke of his grief, saying he has to ‘live with the fact I was helpless to protect her as I always promised’.

In a Facebook post he wrote: ‘Parents – spend as much time with your kids as you possibly can.

‘If you’re a parent and arguing, please don’t stop that child from seeing the other parent.

‘You never know what’s round the corner… I’ve learnt the hard way, like most things in life, and it’s too late.’

More tributes were left at the scene today as mourners continued to pay their respects.

John and Lacey’s grandmother Diane Bennett was among those who visited the scene.

Asked about the children, she said: ‘They were beautiful, well-mannered, did anything for anybody.

‘But at the moment it’s my son I’m worried about. I know we’ve lost somebody but he’s lost even more. ‘

Ms Bennett said John Paul wanted to be an engineer and Lacey ‘was just a girly-girl’.

The three children found dead at the property were pupils at Outwood Academy City in Sheffield and the school paid tribute to them in a statement issued on Tuesday.

The school said: ‘Lacey and Connie had just embarked on their secondary school journey with us and already made a positive impression on everyone they came into contact with.

‘John Paul was a popular and polite young man, well-liked by staff and with a close-knit group of friends.’

Derbyshire Police said a 31-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of murder and was being questioned by officers.

The police activity showed no let-up on Tuesday, with vehicles choking the quiet street and officers working in various locations, including using specialist equipment to dig out drains.

A series of forensic tents remain in the front garden of the semi-detached property at the centre of the investigation.

A fundraising page set up on GoFundMe for the families of the victims has now raised more than £14,000.

~ I'm sure the guy finally got all bent over from all the unnerving ear deafening shrieking & screaming from the kids, and the doting mother who sided with them.
~ It's the ultimate test of wannabe parenthood for a man, when they all turn against him.
~ In this case I could be wrong....
