One of these "dead fuckers" WAS armed. He also had the slight advantage of knowing he was responding to an active shooter situation. Neither helped him.

Don't get me wrong...I don't want the government saying I can't keep the 9mm pistol and 12 gauge shotgun I own legally. I do have those for protection of my home and family. I also own an AR15 that's fun af to shoot at the range but I have no practical use for it day to day. I can't carry it around for protection... until the zombies come. Haha

But to suggest that more guns strapped to the sides of any of these victims would have prevented their death is just wishful thinking and speculation. Maybe yes, but maybe not.

And FYI... I'm not a liberal nor conservative. More "a little bit country and a little bit rock n roll". I just think your choice of verbiage sounds like an emotional, irrational response, if I'm honest.

With regards to gun control in the US, I thought it was more to do with more background checks and trying to ensure there is less chance for somebody who maybe can't be trusted with a firearm to get one. Like the guys that commit these shootings. I never thought it was about taking them off people who are responsible shooters. Or are people worried that it will be a slippery slope?

Everything with the government is a slippery slope no matter where you live. Haha.

Yes, the background checks and mental illness checks are what is currently being pushed... but there is also the potential ban on assault rifles. Many people believe these are just the start of an eventual total ban on firearms, such as the case with many other parts of the world.

Personally, I try not to preach too much about my personal beliefs because it's a lot of time and energy in doing so and for what? It won't change anything and it's very hard to have an intelligent, rational debate about this subject with most people. Just as it is with religion and politics overall.

The divide that's grown over the last several decades I place direct blame partially on ALL 24 hour news networks. In my mind, that's not news. It's all opinion... talk shows disguised as "news".

Fox News, CNN, MSNBC are absolutely brain washing millions of people. I have experienced this directly with someone that lives in my home. Fox News is all he ever watches and it really makes his views and beliefs one sided, ill informed, and based solely off a bunch of judgmental idiots. He's almost obsessed with his views as being the "right" views. The same is true of CNN and MSNBC.

People need to remember that we are ALL human first... before we are white, black, dem, republican, male, female, american, irish, canadian, british, muslim, catholic, intelligent, stupid, ugly, pretty... you get the idea.

But when I say that in most settings (I'm sure it will happen here as well) I get accused of being some kind of hippie. lol But in general, I loathe the human race... but am perfectly capable of looking into the human side of every person I meet or hear about... rather then which god they believe in or the color of their skin.

Damn. I'm only 13 minutes into the stream... and it's fucking chilling. The streamer keeps referring to Denny being in the store. Telling specific viewers to call someone named "Nick". Denny was one of the victims.

Any of you people who think this is fake need some serious help. Why don't you ask these victims' families if it was fake.
