Mother Stabs, Beats Son to Death
A 52-year-old mother was arrested after police say she stabbed her 22-year-old disabled son over a dozen times, and beat him in the head with a hammer until he died. Police told HLN’s Nancy Grace they believe the victim’s mother, Tracey Zetsche, then stayed with her dead son, 22-year-old Gabriel Philby-Zetsche’s body in the house for five days after she allegedly killed him. On July 30, police responded to the home after Gabriel’s aunt called 911 to report that her sister-in-law said her son was definitely dead. “My sister-in-law is sitting outside. She doesn’t know what happened…she said there’s blood everywhere,” the aunt told the dispatcher. “She says he’s definitely dead.” When authorities entered the home, they said they found Gabriel “lying on the bedroom floor covered by a blanket,” according to court documents. Police said they also observed a “large amount of blood on the floor near the victim and bloody splatter on the walls and ceiling.” According to court documents, police said they observed what appeared to be “several wounds to his head and face.” Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple told HLN that Gabriel was “stabbed over a dozen times…he was bludgeoned with a hammer over two dozen times.” Police told HLN they recovered blood soaked clothing, bedding, towels, and the murder weapons in a flat bed open trailer used for trash behind the apartment. From the trash, investigators said they recovered three knives, including a bread knife and two smaller steak knives. A claw hammer, according to police, was also recovered from the scene. Zetsche had bruises and cuts on her hands when she was taken into custody, Apple told HLN. Investigators said Zetsche told them she had no idea how she go the injuries, and said she didn’t remember what happened. Police reportedly believe Zetsche attempted to mask the smell of her son’s decomposing body. Times Union reported Apple said Zetsche “opened the windows, pointed fans out to air the place out…she just didn’t know her next move when it came to the body.” Tracey Zetsche was charged with second-degree murder and is currently being held at the Albany County Correctional Facility without bail. She is facing a maximum sentence of life in prison if convicted of her son’s murder. Zetsche’s attorney, Jim Milstein, would not comment on the case. I would also like to note, that Gabriel suffered from a mental disability, but was classified as "fully functional". Meaning, he was socially active, and even helped his mother out with household chores and shopping. Gabriel also was not receiving any Gov't benefits what-so-ever. |

That just breaks my fuckin' heart. The one person he should have felt safe with, his own Mother. Fuck her. And Fuck Nancy DisGrace too. God I can't stand her, with her, 'mommy' this and 'mommy' that. I understand there are people who worship her and hang on her every word, no offense to them, but C'MON.  |

Ah, you're the one! I remember someone calling Nancy that! I like her! She's a victims' advocate and since she had her twins, she may carry the "mommy", thing too far, but, she is for real. She hates child abusers and killers as much as we do. Ya'all don't like Georgia peaches, lol? |
