*More* Oregon Woman Set Husband on Fire to Get His Attention Over Weed Killer
AP August 20, 2014 MOUNT ANGEL, Oregon -- An Oregon woman accused of setting her husband on fire because of an argument over weed killer is jailed on an attempted murder charge. KPTV reports an officer on patrol Friday evening saw the woman and man outside their Mount Angel home and initially thought there had been an accident with a barbecue. The man, 43 year old, Timothy Bork, was flown to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland with burns to his face and chest that covered 15 percent of his body. Court papers say his wife, 45 year old, Toddi Bork, confronted him over spraying poison on weeds that could have sickened her dogs. She told police she doused him with gasoline and set the fire to get his attention. Her lawyer did not immediately return a call Tuesday. **Additional info** Link to video is here: http://www.kptv.com/video?autoStart=...lipId=10487438 Woman Tells Police She Purposely Set Fire to Husband Over an Argument August 19, 2014 By Kaitlyn Bolduc MT. ANGEL, OR (KPTV) - A Mt. Angel woman told police she set fire to her husband over an argument. He survived, but, Monday night she's sitting in a jail cell facing attempted murder charges. It happened around 8:30 p.m. Friday at the home on Gilles Street. An officer on patrol saw a man and a woman outside the home, and that the man had something in his hand that appeared to be on fire, according to investigators. The officer initially assumed there had been a barbeque or mechanical accident. Police said the woman Toddi Bork, 45, ran to the officer screaming that she'd set her husband purposely on fire. Court documents reveal Toddi Bork confronted her husband over the weekend about spraying for weeds. She was apparently upset because her dogs could have gotten sick from the chemicals. The fight moved to the front yard according to court documents, when her husband talked about how she owed him $25,000. Police say that's when she dowsed him with gasoline and then set fire to his body. After admitting this all to police, Bork then placed her hands behind her back and stated that she needed to be arrested, officers said. The husband, Timothy Bork, 43, suffered burns to his face and chest, covering 15 percent of his body. Paramedics took him to Silverton Hospital. Life Flight later flew him to the burn unit at Legacy Emmanuel Center. Toddi Bork later told police while she set fire to her husband on purpose, she didn't want to kill him. She claims she just wanted to get his attention, according to court documents. Court documents also show Toddi Bork admitted to drinking six, or seven beers before this all happened. She will be indicted later this month. Photo: Marion County Sheriff's Office Toddi?!?!? |

There is a part of me that could see myself doing this if someone intentionally tried to poison my dogs. This doesn't sound like that kind of a situation, though.

I didn't think so either. It said, the dogs may have gotten sick. She admitted drinking in the addition and assumed the, "arrest position." Just not a happy drinker! I feel bad for the poor guy. Cannot find picture of him yet. |

"What's my O-Face?" How about, "O-Fuck-I'm-On-Fire"?! Speaking of "weed killer", I'm looking forward to the day they legalize MJ here in Missouri. I'll be wearing this image on a T-shirt the first day of freedom. |
