And no, I know all of canada isn't all out white british colony. However their foundation is built by European cultural, and social standards. And most of their diversity that did develop was in smaller doses (obvious smaller population ,) and more in closer to recent more developed years.

Not to mention, we have a few sub cultures here, that refuse to let go of past oppression, and adapt to better social standards. Another words, we are still repairing hundreds of years of trial an error.

I won't ever judge canada as a bad place, or even compare them to the US, all I could say, is the two countries can't fairly be compared.

America was founded by a bunch of european colonies based on european cultural and social standards also, your diversity came in the same waves as Canadian diversity. Canada did not suddenly become immensely diversified in overnight (its currently the most diverse g8 nation).

And to think the kid is sitting in a correctional facility right now. The mom mentioned he had mental problems. Was he getting help? Wtf.

Unlike you know it all Canuks, I never ever claimed to know very much about Canada. I have enough to do trying to understand America. What I don't understand is what makes you guys such experts on internal American domestic issues. I will not comment on Canadian internal issues, because I don't live there or really understand the culture. Why do all of you feel so free to comment on America? All I'm saying is, mind your own business. You have no more idea of what happens here as I do of what happens there...we are two distinctly different (yet similar) countries that each has it's own very unique cultures. I have no more business making broad statements about Canada than you guys do about America. But you seem obsessed about what happens here...why is that? Why do you care if we take our privately owned firearms and kill each other? Why do you care what we do or don't do in our criminal justice system? I get why you might be interested in big stuff like wars, embargos, foreign relations, etc. Those things might indirectly effect Canada. By who cares what we do internally? Is it that big of a deal what happens in America? Why the obsession? Why the controversy? You mind your business and we'll mind ours...we are two very different cultures...so what?
