I know who wrote it and where they were from. Just because the writers were from Israel, doesn't mean they are above reproach with their political slant. Maybe they should've added a few more pages and focused on the combat aspects instead.

Have you read the book? I thought it was an authoritative account. Israeli soldiers were needlessly sent to their death because of politicians who didn't understand combat. This also led to the death of Lebanese civilians.
