its probably the same here in the US, we love our fountain sodas

I have no doubt it's just as bad!

To be fair, I put up a list of the dirtiest cities in America. I knew Filthydelphia would make it!

bet the door handle of a macdonalds has even more bacteria and then people grab their burger and eat.

I learned that one from Oprah years ago.

When I saw the movie, "What About Bob?", he reminded me of a more obsessive/compulsive version of myself.

My great niece gets mad at me when I try to get her to wash her hands before she eats and after she uses a restroom. She calls me a, "germ freak"

You'd be surprised how unclean ice machines are. They're designed so that they should have a periodic clean cycle ran with a chemical treatment. Of course most places I've been to service the equipment rarely if ever do so. Some I've opened even have a layer of sediment and a green layer of algae in the water trough.
Needless to say, I avoid these places when I go out to eat.

Makes sense.

If you're getting paid dirt, why would you clean things for everyone else

I always get bottled stuff cause I hate using ice machines and fountain sodas. Not that that's any better but yuck

There are sources who believe bottled water is worse than tap water, at least in the US, but, I use it because it's convenient.

I also freeze half of a bottle and add water when I got out. Not supposed to do that either.

One way or the other, we are all going to die

Hey, I get paid dirt and I got to clean these things when they stop producing ice due to people not keeping them clean!

Really? omg
We drink bottled water because the tap water here is disgusting we've been told not to drink it. Water tastes awful anyway.
