I know, I live in Memphis, TN. Very southern. Tomatoes had to be watered every day & still stopped producing by late July. And I'm just a backyard veg garden enthusiast. The farms in the surrounding areas looked bad. Every year spring comes earlier. They used to say don't plant until may. The last few years I have started my garden early April. This year I am wondering if I should start in March? Plant earlier to beat the killing summer heat. Will we reach 110 degrees this summer?  |
