I was spanked and also belted a couple times as a child and it made me into a better person I think. I harbored resentment towards my father though when he whipped me a couple times for nearly no reason. We are mammals and almost all mammal babies are chastised physically when misbehaving, it is to let them know their behavior is not tolerable and there will be consequences to this undesirable conduct. The day the government starts enforcing this bullshit is the day we need to have a peaceful revolution. I hope this lady appealed this to higher courts because this is definitely overstepping the boundaries of law.

Spanking a child under 2? Too young but I'm not against a wee slap to the back of the legs if older children really mis-behave. I had it, my mates got it, we're all fine now and then we learned from it.
