dont worry.. when a black person gets killed by a white person its all over the news. also uhh.. in before someone quotes my tongue-in-cheek joke and says something about Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, and black people always playing the victim.. Seriously, you can find atleast one person saying that stupid joke(or i guess thats their true feelings) in every racially charged thread. Gets really old.

The point of the media isn't to give the public "what they want", its to report what's actually happening. Overreporting young white girls going is just irresponsible and inaccurate. |

Are you in 5th grade? Are you able to form coherent sentences that actually explain what you're trying to say? I'm not saying the news succeeds at reporting what "actually happens", but that is, or should be, the idealistic goal of objective reporting. Misrepresenting data to make it look like only white teenage girls go missing runs contrary to any ideal of "objective reporting". |
