Re: Missing Girls Body Found!
Man arrested after body of long-missing girl found Jolene Riendeau disappeared Aug. 12, 1999, after going to the corner store to buy a bag of chips. Montreal police have arrested a man in his 40s after the body of Jolène Riendeau was found earlier this week, 12 years after she went missing at age 10. Sgt. Ian Lafrenière made the announcement Friday morning, days after police said they were zeroing in on a suspect. The suspect was being questioned by homicide detectives, he said. No charges have been laid. The man is known to police. "It's a very important development for us," said Lafrenière. Jolène went missing in 1999 in Montreal's Point-Saint-Charles neighbourhood. She was last seen outside a convenience store six blocks from her home, where she went to buy a bag of potato chips. More than a million posters of Riendeau were circulated in Quebec in the years after her disappearance. Police followed up on more than 1,500 tips, and interviewed several suspects and witnesses. No details about where Riendeau's remains were found or how she may have died have been released. |

Re: Missing Girls Body Found!
Anyone ever notice that only cute kids are the only ones to fall victim to kidnapping, murder, rape, ect. ??? If you've got an ugly kid you may as well let them roam around the neighborhood unsupervised, seems they're safe. |
