Yeah, if you let them run around like vermin strays, they do.

Dogs will do the same if allowed to run free. They also like to kill the free roaming cats.

The majority of the cats that "disappear" are dead. Even though people like to think they're warm and loved in someone else's home.

Some cats prefer to stay indoors.

But even outside cats can be distrustful of other people who aren't their owners. It depends on the animal, really.

My cats stay indoors where I know they are safe. Too many coyotes and foxes out here to let my fur babies roam around unsupervised.

Yeah, the worst ours have to deal with are skunks. One of them came in after getting winged by one, and her little ass went right back out!

Did she accidentally get a stripe of white paint down her back?

Nah. Guarantee you she was the one doing the chasing. Of the 5 cats here, she's the outdoorsiest.

Re: Missing Cat Jesse Returns To Owners After EIGHT Years

I'm glad we don't usually get skunks out here because my rat terrier, Hansel, will chase after the rabbits that get in the yard. Fortunately they can outrun him. They could probably do some damage too.
