MEXICO: New Cartel Announcement - Consejo Indígena
Mexico: A group called "Consejo Indígena" announced their formation against "Cártel de Jalisco Nueva Generación" (CJNG) in Chiapas. The members of the group appear to be armed with a 7.62x39mm IO M214S AK-47 rifle, AR-15 rifles, a Galil AR model rifle, and 12G shotguns. (Tried doing a quick search for more info, no luck)

Re: MEXICO: New Cartel Announcement - Consejo Indígena
They get most of their guns and ammo state side, usually from dirty gun dealers, so its not its not surprising you would see them armed with an entire batch of weapons. Our tough on crime and screwed up border policies create the crime vaccum that fund these cartels. Legalizing weed has put a huge dent in their operations. Historically the pot is what keeps them afloat and their smuggling lines open. Then they send up harder drugs for profit. Now they are trying to diversify their criminal dealings. Recently they have been screwing with the avacado industry. |

There are SO many AK clones made during the Bosnian war. Yugoslavia made a ton. Czech Republic still makes clones. Hungary too I believe.

Re: MEXICO: New Cartel Announcement - Consejo Indígena
IO stands for "InterOrdnance" and they're an American based manufacturer of AK pattern rifles that basically made the whole joke about American AKs being a hot cum Sunday. He'd be better off with a damned stick, since at least a stick won't blow pieces of the front trunnion into your face. IO Inc has also been out of business since something like 2018. Most of those were probably bought person to person or acquired from military sources, since finding things aside from ARs and AKs in the US is a crapshoot. |
