I live in a little hick town. Matter of fact I've lived in the city and in plenty of hick towns.

In general, if you keep a smile on your face and don't say anything political or religious to the locals, you're either ignored to taken in.

If all you do is wear your hat at the wrong angle in the city, you can get yourself shot.

The daily broken laws in your average American hick town are small ones. Yes there are drug problems, but not on as grand of a scale. Yes, there are murders, but everybody knows what happened and who's going to jail over it.

Compare that to the city... I wasn't able to step out my front door without getting attacked some days. Simply because of my mother's choice in my clothing and my skin color.

I'll take the small towns any day.

And, yes, I've been attacked in the small town for being different, too. However the people finally just learned to ignore me and I would ignore them.

I look at these type of occurrences from an ethical point of view and NOT a political one, it's easy to get so bogged down with reasons why it happens when all you have to realise is it's wrong and unjust and it's a way to keep people subservient, ESPECIALLY WOMEN.

You are a smart guy, you are in the west trying to get educated, why don't you look at the fact that the rest of the world has passed the Islamic states by, that all your technology comes from the West or the East, you're countries are stagnant under Islam, and quit blaming it all on the west.

Look at ALL Islamic countries in the world, the poverty, the crime and disease, the maniacal promotion of Islam and what it has done to them.

Take some responsibility for yourselves, your posts such as the Mike Wallace interview don't portray your country in very good light.
