Re: Marijuana Decriminalised in Washington State

Weed screwed up my cousin big time. He now suffers extreme paranoia and mental health problems so bad, he's unable to work and look after himself

I really don't know what to think about it being legalised. Seems wrong to me knowing the harm it can do
im sorry that happened to your cousin! i've never heard of weed causing mental illness but it can exasperate existing mental illness, as will many drugs. it's definitely not for everyone.

As for it's legality effecting things socially....it seems to be life as usual here. There is nowhere to buy it yet, so we will see how that changes things when that happens....the big deal (locally) is still liquor being sold at Walmart and at grocery stores, instead of liquor stores.

You guys are lucky. I live in Coos Bay, Oregon. Just one state under and the big deal here is "Meth Watch"

Tweekers are everywhere

Re: Marijuana Decriminalised in Washington State

If marijuana is legalized Mexico will focus on Heroin. It would be a cheaper drug, more users.

I'm a little confused. Which will be the cheaper drug, marijuana or heroin?

I think marijuana will always be cheaper since it requires far less processing and is way less labor intensive.

More bulky than heroin, but if legal, bulk will not be a factor.

Heroin. No more marijuana from Mexico

meth is a nasty drug....we had a big issue with it up here too. it was real bad in Portland when i lived there.

your state had a similar measure on the ballot (measure 80 i think ) that would have legalized it too....but it was no where near passing, i dont think.
