Karla's situation was different in that the prosecution gave her a deal without knowing the full extent of her involvement...... She played the battered wife card, the Prosecution bought it, she testified against Paul...... THEN the tapes were found, and we found out she's just as bad as he is.

I know a guy who's brother has schizophrenia and a history of violence.
His meds make him so tired he sleeps 15 hours a day, so once he gets out and back home he stops taking them........ And within a couple of months he's gotten to the point that the Police have to physically restrain him & take him back to the Loony Bin.

I guess the point is there is no monitoring if someone is taking their drugs, even with a history of violence & not taking them.

i don't care if he is sane when medicated. he still committed murder. his victim doesn't have the opportunity to go on outings. why should he?

actually an outing for him might be a good idea with just a little preparation and a different destination. tattoo the words "muslims are the manure of the planet" on his chest, put a "my jesus can kick your allah's ass" t-shirt on him and send him off on a one way "outing" to one of the muslim countries famous for having dull knives.

My opinion when it comes to the violently mentally ill?

No public outings or life of any sort. None.

You stay in a facility where you are given your meds by someone else, not self-medicated. You can have visits from anyone you want who chooses to go visit you in that establishment, knowing the risks of doing so.

You don't expose the innocent public to an insane bastard like that without their consent...
