A MAN threatening his daughter with a samurai sword: this terrifying scene confronted police as they tried to catch a motorist fleeing an accident scene.

Police said the man, 34, had refused to give himself up before holding the weapon to the young girl, "Let me go or I'll kill her I swear it - I will show no mercy," police reportedly heard him shout.

Passers-by reportedly watched in horror as the situation unfolded outside a farmer's market in Yongren, Yunnan province, in southern China.


The Sun quoted a witness as saying: "I heard the car coming at speed and then slam on the brakes when two police cars blocked the road.


"Then this man leapt out carrying a huge sword and waving what I thought was a doll.

"But then I realised it was a little child.

"She seemed shocked but then she started crying when she heard her daddy shouting."

Why don't we take some of the people's advice in the http://www.documentingreality.com/fo...0-times-79402/ post and use less lethal force. Maybe taze him? Use some tear gas, rubber bullets? Shoot him in the ELBOW!!! Some people give me a good laugh. I know what this guy needs, a quick death caused by lead poisoning.
