Man Slits Own Throat on Glasgow City Street
My city, another incident i missed. An eyewitness has told of the terrifying moment he witnessed a man cut his own throat after lunging at people with a stanley knife on a busy Glasgow street. Dale Cronnan, from Blantyre, watched the shocking incident unfold from the window of his office on the city's West Nile Street. The 22-year-old told the Daily Record: "One of my work colleagues heard shouting outside and we all ran to the window. "We saw this man just randomly running at people with what looked like a stanley knife. "One man started trying to defend himself with an umbrella and it looked like he tried to grab the blade from the knifeman, but he ended up getting his hand slashed." Dale then described how he watched the attacker's victim run in to the nearby Handmade Burger Co. to try to escape, before telling of his horror as he witnessed the knifeman then begin to cut his own throat.
