Man Revives Bumblebee

YouTube user MadMark came across the stricken insect lying motionless on his garden path before carefully picking it up and giving it a helping hand.
He explained: 'I found a bumblebee lying on its back and motionless on the path and just had to try and help it. I put some honey on its hand and this is what happened.'

Instead of letting Mother Nature take its course, the thoughtful amateur film maker decided to do all he could to nurse it back to health while recording the bee's progress.
He uploaded the video entitled 'Bringing a Bumblebee back to life' online explaining: 'I saw a video on here once of someone reviving a bee with sugar water so thought I would try to save this one with some honey .... It worked.'
The clip shows the thoughtful wildlife fan letting the bee, which survives on nectar, suck up the honey before slowly making a recovery.
He adds: 'After about 20 minutes or so of feeding and watching, the bumblebee recovered from what look liked almost certain death to hopefully fly away and survive a little longer.'
The video has been a hit on YouTube with one user commentating: 'Thanks for sharing. Great video.'

There is a trick you can do.. Put it in the freezer for a few minutes and it'll get into a sleepy state. And then you can push it around or do whatever, and it'll wake up..

Re: Man Revives Bumblebee

Before he revived it he should have tied a string around it. He could have had a pet bee.

Re: Man Revives Bumblebee

i saw a huge roach laying on its back motionless in the restroom at work last week. It was next to the urinal I was using, on the floor.. I took one good look at it and I directed my stream of urine onto its presumably dead carcas. I then saw its legs moving.. then I was like, "oh shit, its alive!?".. I proceded to urinate in the urinal and made it snappy, in case the roach decided to get its fat ass off its back and chase me with my urine all over it.

Case in point.. wheres my fucking news article?

Nvm guess I gotta document it myself.. too bad I cant use my phone at work.
