Off topic, I hate this use of the word 'several'. Several isn't a specific number. Saying 'at least several' is weird and doesn't make sense.

This is what schools are putting out these days.

I was helping my 9 year old great niece with her homework earlier today and corrected her spelling.

Her mother and father don't check it anymore.

My niece told me the teacher only cares whether or not it's all done and goes too fast

She is in 4th grade! I find it appalling!

I said something to the former assistant principal and she said, "I know," and shrugged.

Next step, the principal, when my niece isn't with me so she doesn't know which child I'm talking about as not to embarrass her.
