Re: Man killed in theater over texting
People have no manners or courtesy! Shut off the fucking phone during a movie, unless you're a doctor or call or a lawyer waiting for a verdict! If you have kids or a sick family member, or fit in the other 2 categories, put it on vibrate! My cell is on so rarely. I didn't grow up with a computer and smart phone in my hand! Old school! People will always annoy you. That is what they do. |

Re: Man killed in theater over texting
I worked in a cinema for years. I didnt mind people flipping their phones out during the previews and adverts, thats just BS but during the movie I jumped on hundreds of morons who had their phone out.

Re: Man killed in theater over texting
This +100,000. People have become slaves to their devices so much 99% of them forget (or don't realize!!) that it's just plain RUDE to use their smartphones in every single aspect of public life. Don't get me started on the idiots who phone/text while in a public bathroom!!! |

Re: Man killed in theater over texting
I know it's fucking annoying when people use phones in a cinema (even when it's silent; the light alone is distracting and indicative of rude, selfish entitlement), but... yeah... shooting the culprit may have possibly been a slight overreaction.
