Man Hangs His Daughter, then Himself
Translated: SAN LORENZO - A man hung his 4 year old daughter and then committed suicide the same way, in a tragic outcome of a dispute over spousal abuse that occurred this morning in the area Jacobo Perez, Quebrada Arenas in the neighborhood. Caguas CIC agents investigating the incident.  The man was identified as Pedro (Piro) Montanez Montanez, 30 years old, who works at a gas station owned by his uncle. The girl was identified as Claudio Irianis Montañez. The man had had the altercation with the girl's mother on Saturday and was summoned to appear this morning at Police Headquarters, to surrender the girl. He came to the house of his first wife and hung his daughter from a tree in the yard then hung himself beside her. At about 10:00 am two bodies were found in the home. Caguas CIC agents initiated the investigation.  |

That is so sad yet not uncommon in DV cases. My friend and her little one were gunned down last Sept. by her estranged husband. |

Yeah it was rough and what drove me to work from home and only do 1 or 2 days one on one. She was a client but I had known her and little man since he was 3 days old. Happened this past Sept. and he still hasnt seen a day in court. |
