I would be very wary about having a dog who was previously abused around kids. Even if they were rehabilitated. It's sad for the dog, but sometimes people are too cruel to them and they just can't learn to trust people and they might attack. It's not worth the risk to a child, certainly. |

I saw those pictures and it reminded me of this, The caption on one copy says something like 'yes she's annoying but you touch her and I'll kill you' Implying they're protective. I'd never let one of these near a child no matter how loyal and tame they seem

I still don't leave my dogs alone with kids. They are extremely tame, until they see something running.  |
